How will they find your business if you’re not there? Even if you have a website, participation in social media dramatically boosts the chances you’ll be found. Actually, 91% of businesses experience improved website traffic due to social media and half have made connections directly resulting in sales via social media.

Join the Conversation: Conversations are already happening in social media regarding your industry or business. Your clients are reviewing you on such sites as Yelp, TripAdvisor, Expedia and Google. You can’t stop them from posting, but you can join the conversation. It’s a terrific opportunity to solve problems and gain new clients in the process. Have fun with your posts and use your outreach to educate, provide customer service, broadcast upcoming events & promotions, or announce new products. The possibilities are endless!

Keep on Truckin’: We’ve all been to networking events at one time or another. Think of social media as the virtual equivalent you can do on your own time. Above all, even if you don’t see immediate results keep at it. Keep your posts up to date.
