Day 1 of GrowCo 2011, Inc Magazine’s Grow Your Business Conference was one filled with optimism of an economic turnaround, networking of small business owners and discussions on ways to use technology to find new and interesting ways to get and keep customers.

Small business owners from across the country came together in Las Vegas to discuss their businesses, learn from industry experts and each other on innovative ways to grow the business. Dan Heath, author of Switch, kicked off the morning with a keynote address centered around embracing change, rather than living in fear of it. Here are some of his more salient points.
