Promotional marketing goes green
This season, many businesses might benefit from offering customers promotional products. The Advertising Specialty Institute reports that consumers are more enthusiastic about doing business with companies that offer promotional products this year. Simultaneously, efforts to go green are a top resolution for 2010 among Americans.
Small business owners might be able to capitalize on consumers’ eco-consciences and love of promotional products by offering them the Clean Air Tree Kit. The World Clean Air Forest Initiative has launched the kit for distribution among companies that want to demonstrate their own eco-friendliness and help consumers go green this season.
Each globe-shaped kit comes complete with all of the tools needed to grow a tree, including a plant pot made from renewable resources. Even the kit itself is made from biodegradable potatoes. Business owners can use these kits as part of their promotional product campaigns to emphasize loyalty to green initiatives.
This promotional kit might help many businesses generate new, eco-conscious clients this year. According to a survey from Burst Media Research, 80 percent of respondents pay more attention to advertisements that indicate a company is green and most will pay a premium for eco-friendly businesses’ services. This entry was posted in Branding and tagged green marketing, promotional products.
